The desktop apps come from your organisation’s own OnlySmack server, so they always match your version and update from it.

  • Smack for macOS

Don’t know it? Ask your IT team, or open OnlySmack in your browser and choose Download desktop app from the menu.

Opening the app the first time.

Mac
The first time you open the app, macOS may block it because it was downloaded from the web. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
Windows
If SmartScreen shows a warning the first time, choose More info, then Run anyway.

After you install.

  1. Open the app.

  2. Enter your organisation’s OnlySmack address.

  3. Sign in and allow notifications.

For IT.

Same files, your server.
Installers live at /downloads/desktop on your OnlySmack server.
